I would like to upgrade the forum software to a more current version. However doing so will kill the threaded forum capability - possibly forever.

The question is "If you use that capability will it really make a difference on your usage if it is no longer available?"

FWIW I have never been a fan of the threaded format. So I wouldn't consider it a loss in the least. But that's just me.

It goes without saying that the people that don't use Threaded Forum Mode won't care if it goes away. :(

What is really needed are responses from people that do actually like it and make use of it! :rolleyes:

I use the "hybrid mode" - would that be changed?

I'll be upgrading the forum tonight beginning at 8PM PDT unless there is some overwhelming reason not to do so - which doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.

During the upgrade process the forum will be down for several hours and, with any luck, most features will be available when things come back up. :eek:
