One of the oft repeated requests is to combine all of the forums back into a single message repositry. Several different reasons have been offered up though none have been overwhelmingly convincing to date. So, in light of that (and the fact that no one else was interested in taking things over) here are a few tips which may help make using things easier.
Q. How do I see new posts when I visit?
A. The easiset way is to click on the Quick View link near the top of the page. This will display all the posts made within the last 2 days. The other way is to click on the New Posts link in the navigation bar. This will display threads that have new posts since your last visit. Finally, Latest Forum Topics on the front page indicates which threads have new posts. Topics with new posts will be in bold and clicking that link will take you to the first unread post in the thread.
Q. How do I make things display the way they were on the original software?
A. Be sure you are configured to use Threaded Forum Views. Most users are already set up to operate this way. The default for new users is the standard vBulletin configuration. To select Threaded Forum Views mode go to the UserCP and select Edit Options. Near the bottom of the Thread Display Options section are the controls for Threaded Forum Views.
Q. Can I get rid of some of the items displayed on the forum page?
A. You can collapse the unused sections so they take up less room by clicking on the collapse/expand indicator on the top right of each section.
Q. How Do I ...
A. If you need help with something, anything, feel free to post a question or check the FAQ (the link is in the navigation bar).
