i was at costco today and noticed that they had moble 1 in both 5-30 and 10-30 in stock. which would be best for the bay area??

Either 0W-40 or 15W-50 would be the preferred weights to use. Some of the Target stores carry 0W-40 while nearly everyplace carries the 15W-50.

I think best oil to use in the BayArea for all year round is the new Mobil M1 5W-40 SUV oil :)
