Could someone post or send me a copy of the so-called BABBLERs recruitment letter so I can print and distribute it?
-Thanks!

I much preferred that. Way cooler too.

The "recruitment" flyer has been uploaded to the web site. It may be accessed from the Home page or by clicking on the link. The flyer is in PDF format. We'll be getting business cards to hand out as soon as the logo artwork is completed. Lots of other surprises in store too!

We're growing in leaps and bounds and we've got lots of plans in store for The BABBLERS like:
* SpeedRing indoor cart racing
* Tech Sessions
* Big Events
* Frequent drives
* Group purchases
But we need everyone's help and participation. There's lots of work to do and it'll be great to have help.
Thanks for spreading the word! We want to see The BABBLERS grow to include almost every Boxster in the Bay Area, the state and then...who knows!

we've kicked around some ideas and a few are:
* have great raffle prizes on the get-togethers and events and "charge" a buck or two or five each depending on how great the prizes are
* donations
* group purchases with a buck or two or three "tax"
These are just ideas...we're open to suggestions. We're not looking to make money but we do need to recoup our costs (mostly Tom's at this point - Web hosting costs, software, etc.).
Needless to say we do need to address this sooner rather than later and, we're open to suggestions!
Thanks for asking Brian!

One idea bantered this weekend was BABBLER wearables. Sweatshirt, windbreaker, sweatpants, shorts, something like that that we could wear in the car.
Catalog Guy raised a good point about license plate frames and/or stickers. We don't want 'road booboos' associated with BABBLERs. We also probably couldn't make much from stickers.
Beach towels to drape over the lovely leather seats or picnic blankets to keep in the trunk are another idea. Umbrellas? Well, maybe not.
Since we all have lame cup holders... coffee mugs and water bottles are way out. Let's go for windbreakers or something like that.
We all pay mark-up for clothing at the mall... at least we know this will be for a good cause.
