on Tuesday. Had an instructor with me that pointed out some slightly different lines. However, I managed to go into turn 5 with a little too much speed. That coupled with a slightly early apex led to the rear end starting to slide around. I applied power but it continued to head off track sideways. I could see the culvert coming up and even though it didn't look that bad I knew I did not want to go through it sideways. I turned right to straighten up and managed to drive pretty much straight off without incident.

I did manage to kill it when heading back onto the track. Not a problem, just start it back up and head to the grid for a quick checkout. Two laps later I lost it on turn 3 when the traction control, which I forgot to turn off after restarting the car :(, took over and wouldn't let me apply power to correct the rear end stepping out. Fortuntely, I was able to recover it and take it off track in a controlled manner.
