2 things:
1) there was a suggestion to go to Vallejo or Davis and drive shifter karts. Let's do that.
2) Speedring has quite a number of team based events, from competition heats to enduros to a very cool Challenge Cup series (wherein you get your own customized Sparco suit!). Any interest by some dedicated karters?
I am definitely into both of these ideas. Thoughts?

This is the email I got back from Lisa Caceras of KArt Racing Inc in Novato.
Hi Brian,
I'm glad to hear you had a great time at SpeedRing! Right
now during the winter months I am only holding private one on one
classes. Around March or so, that will change. If you are interested in
small groups of 16, I am booking schools for Terry Ives who holds
classes at Prairie City (Rancho Cordova) near Sacramento. The track is
great with elevation changes, etc. His prices is $275 per person. Lots
of track time and instruction. He has intro. classes in the 100cc and
comparable and they're plenty fast until you get the hang of the track
and the outdoor race karts (different from the indoor ones). Let me know
if this interests you. Feel free to give me a call (800) 981-5278. I'll
be out of the office tomorrow, but in on Thurs.
Thanks!
Lisa

Please! I am way maxed out with planning the West Coast Boxsterfest for about 100 people plus the details (Hearst Castle tours, collecting money for the tours, dinner plans, drives, giveaways!, security guard, etc.).
Not to mention helping with other stuff like BABBLERS t-shirts.
Oh and group orders ;)
So it would be WONDERFUL if a couple/three of you would get together virtually or otherwise and plan this event for the BABBLERS!
We need more involvement and participation to make this thing sing!
Thanks!

otherwise, I will be happy to organize this event. Tom Dee, care to help?
Damn...that sounds like work; "Next Steps"...pretty soon we'll be discussing "objectives" and "Value propositions"...****...I'm dreading it already...
