boxster electrical fault

electric windows wind down on unattended car, intermittently sometimes every few minutes sometimes not for hours. Does this regardless of battery state, ie fully or low charge condition. also unlocks the car doors.Not temperature related fault continues in warm garage or sub zero outside temps. Locking car by remote or key or leaving unlocked makes no difference. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.:confused::confused::confused:

You may have a problem with one of the door lock mechanisms, or with the remote lock unit under the driver's seat.
Have you checked for humidity under the seat. That's one of the most common maladies of such behavior.
My passenger door's locking mechanism went haywire and it wouldn't hold the lock and sometimes the windows would roll down or up on their own.
