Blackjack Tournament Rules

1.

The Blackjack Tournament is limited to the first 30 participants.

2.

The tournament players will be playing with tokens, not casino chips or money.

3.

Each player shall receive a preset number of "chips" for their $15 buy-in.

4.

Players do not get to keep chips or any other "winnings" other than the designated Grand Prize.

5.

Play will take place in a series of "heats".

6.

The order of play shall be determined by a random drawing prior to the start of the tournament.

7.

Each heat will last a minimum of 10 minutes. The total number of players participating in the tournament will determine the actual duration of each heat as well as the duration of the final round.

8.

No hands will be dealt after the time limit has expired. However, if play has commenced when time expires the round of play will continue.

9.

The player with the most winnings from each heat will advance to the final round.

10.

Players advancing to the final round will again start with a preset number of chips.

11.

The player with the most winnings from the final round will be the winner of the Grand Prize.

12.

In case of a tie after any heat or the final round the winner shall be determined by a cut of the playing deck. The player drawing the highest card shall be declared the winner.

13.

The Organizing Committee, or their designee, shall be the sole body responsible for determining any disputes and their decision shall be final.
